«The Stranger» by Albert Camus: Analysis Paper

Imagine a man and so absurd, yet so in tune with himself that this individual does not have got to motions of life for anyone. This man has been made in The New person by Albert Camus. The story takes place in a costal town of Algeria. The main character is named Meursault. He is a regular office attendant with no actual aspirations of progress, love, or success. He does not have any false thoughts and does not whatever it takes to make sure you people. This individual did not also cry or perhaps feel bad for his very own mother's funeral service because which is not the way that he sensed. He would rather complain about not having a fresh towel to dry his hands with than realize the value in the fact that he received a promotion into a job in Paris. Absence of fake thoughts should cause a more honest life, however it ultimately causes his problem. Meursault is also an ludicrous character. Some of his activities and beliefs are so odd that the audience is almost forced in to not really liking him. Camus uses the character of Meursault to illustrate the absurdness, but affirm the value of life.

The problem Meursault gets in shows how silly he really is. The absurdity of your life can then be found juxtaposed to his problem. " In respect to criteria by which he previously conducted his life, there is absolutely no basis to get his police arrest. He had centered his activities on full indifference to everything besides physical sensations; and projecting this beliefs to the extreme, he observed no big difference between firing and not firing the photographs into the physique of the Arab" (Rhein 35). At the beginning of the second half of the novel Meursault is usually put on trial for firing an Arabic man to death to get apparently zero reason. It is very strange that someone can be completely indifferent to the point that they could kill somebody. The absurdity is in the fact that Meursault is definitely condemned generally for this indifference not truly for eliminating the Arabic. Since he could be not like everyone else he is charged. Rhein will abide by this perspective when he writes, " He knows that the...
